Kitchen taps that are easy to use (turn on / off)

Sometimes we get specific enquiries for kitchen taps that are easy to use (turn on /off). It can be for a variety of reasons e.g. the kitchen tap is going into a surgery and the client wants to be able to nudge the tap on or off with their elbows, or the client might have reduced function (strength) in their hands e.g. a form of arthritis. Whatever the reason, we do several taps that tick these boxes.

Our most popular one is the San Marco Riviera with lever handles, showed on the left.

These handles have been described to me by some customers as ‘wings’ and can be nudged on / off with your elbows because they have a 1/4 turn spindle.

This is a mid height deckmixer dual flow tap (standing at 225mm).

This type of tap is commonly seen in dental or doctors surgeries.

For something a little bit more ‘traditional’ in style you can choose the San Marco Riviera Palazzo Kitchen Tap. This tap comes with ceramic white lever handles and is taller (height of 305 mm). It is also a dual flow kitchen tap.

Why buy from us?
We are a specialist online store that stocks a selected range of products that we can provide all the technical information on and troubleshoot any problems associated with (no matter how old). We have been selling Carron Phoenix Products for almost 30 years and San Marco Kitchen Taps for 20 years. Not only do we stock the spare parts but our technical department can troubleshoot most problems for you – no matter how old or new your kitchen tap is. Excellent After Sales Service is an intrinsic part of our Customer Care ethos.

The Carron Phoenix Barra Bridge Mixer Kitchen Tap with white ceramic lever handles is the tallest (365 mm) and the dearest. You could only justify paying this amount (compared to Palazzo which also has ceramic handles) if you wanted to combine the functionality required of a lever tap with a tap that was more traditionally designed. This Bridge Mixer Kitchen Tap is single flow.

Barra has adjustable feet which sometimes is a requirement if it is being fitted to a ceramic sink that has holes pre-drilled that are not exactly 180mm apart.

We are always available to assist you with any queries that you might have. Just contact us at and we will be more than happy to help.
