Genuine SMR Ceramic Disc Valve 28 Splines 3561R

All our valves referred to here are Genuine and will be stamped San Marco / SMR just like your own. If you have a bridge mixer lever tap there is a further piece of information to read down below before ordering as well.

The 3561R has been used in many taps over the years but seals have been modified or Taps have been modifed during many years of production. The following information is here to assist you to purchase the older valve type (with white seal) for certain Tap ages, or specific Taps. Where your Tap is 2013 or newer, other than the Maya Tap, then you can purchase the 3561R coloured (red / blue) seal option. If in doubt, then just select the White sealed option.

A Hot Valve opens Clockwise. This is listed as Hot Red or Hot White
A Cold Valve opens Anti-clockwise. This is listed as Cold Red or Cold White

• If your own Valve has a white seal, then you need to purchase the ‘White’ sealed version.
• If your own Valve is stamped SAN MARCO, purchase the ‘White’ sealed version.
• If your own Valve has red or blue seal, BUT is 2012 or older, you need to purchase the ‘White’ sealed version.
• If you have the Franke Olympus, you need to purchase the ‘White’ sealed version.
• If you have the Maya Tap, you need to purchase the ‘White’ sealed version.
• If you are unsure BUT your own valve has some version of the 3561R, buy the ‘White’ sealed version.

  Nut Height: 8, Splines: 28, Overall height: 53mm, Diameter at thread: 21mm
  It can be a common enough problem that when you remove your Kitchen Tap Valve it looks different than the valve in the picture (or the Valve that you purchased from us). It is most likely because the brass bush is still attached.

  If the Valve is stuck inside the Brass Bush then you can buy the Bush as well.  See below for link to purchase. You can try and separate them but if you damage the Bush then your Tap will drip.  

  This Valve comes with different Brass Bushes, the most common ones are

  the 3868R with recess and the 3886R with lip shown below. If your brass bush is different, then contact us.
