Description
Davos Tap from Franke
Franke Davos J Tap
Before ordering replacement valve please see below for further information, images and measurements on the Manufacturers change of Valve from 1427R Cold (133.0069.364) and 1427R Hot (133.0069.365) to SP3547 Cold (133.0358.165) and SP3547 Hot (133.0358.167). The manufacturer recommends that you order universal 1427R if replacing your valve. If your valve has 18 splines (earlier valve) we do not have this valve.
Franke Davos SM Tap Valve
In 2014 the Franke Davos SM Tap Valve was changed by manufacturer from the 1427R Valve to the SP3547. Your installation guide will tell you exactly which part to order. EITHER valve IS compatible once you have the Davos Tap (although we do NOT stock the even earlier version with 18 splines).
We have provided here measurements and images of both valves for reference if you don’t have your installation guide as otherwise you might receive a valve that looks different from your own valve, when you remove it, and think that you were sent the WRONG valve. If you are not sure then EMAIL us sales@tapsandsinksonline.co.uk prior to ordering (and if you have removed your own valve, email us the picture together with any markings that is stamped on it).

We do not stock spare Parts for Franke Davos 1990 to 2007 (see the locking nut at the base of the spout (where the spout meets the tap base). It is smaller and more curved than the current Davos Tap locking nut and this is a key way of distinguishing which tap you have.

We do not stock Spare Parts for Franke Davos 1990 to 2007, only for Davos from 2008.

How to tell Davos apart – see Locking nut detail. We stock the Davos Spare parts from 2008
Please note that rarely, a customer, when fitting the 4276R valve with white seal underneath, reports a slight gap between handle and body of the tap. This is due to the larger white seal. This seal will flatten with use. If you wish to buy the 3547R and your tap continues to drip, we will not replace under 1 year warranty if your Tap is 2014 or older. Please retain your old valve as proof of age of your own Tap. The valve will have a date stamped on it.

Parts might be modified by the manufacturers as part of their continual improvements. We cannot always guarantee that a part will fit an older version of a product. All spare parts that do not fit can be returned for a refund excluding shipping costs.
