Franke Olympus Brass Bush with Lip SP3886.

This part was previously known as 3886R and has been renamed SP3886 in current Franke Installation Guides.
This bush was used in some of the earlier Olympus Taps. Later Olympus Taps use the Bush 3886R with recess.

This is the part that surrounds the Valve inside the Tap. Sometimes when removing the old Valve, this brass bush also comes out i.e. the valve and brass bush appear as one. They need to be separated to re-use the old brass bush with the new valve, or if neither can be separated, then you have to purchase a new brass bush as well as a new valve to fix your dripping tap.

What is the Bush ?

The Bush is an extra part surrounding the Valve in the Olympus Tap.
If your Tap Valve and the Bush Part are stuck together then try to separate in order to reuse the Bush with the New Valve.
If you cannot separate, then you will need to buy a New Bush.
