Franke Triflow Olympus Tap Valve

£33 incl. VAT

Spare Franke Triflow Olympus Tap Valve (Hot, Mains  Cold and Cold Filtered) if your Tap is dripping from the Spout.  This Triflow Tap was discontinued Spring 2011 and the replacement model looks very similar (identical) but takes a DIFFERENT valve.  The Triflow version has red , blue and green coloured indicators on the handles. If you have the Franke Olympus Filterflow Tap, then you will have the letters C, H and F etched on your handle and the parts listed here are not for the Filterflow Tap.If you remove your own Valve and SMR or San Marco is stamped on it then you need a different Valve which is called the Filterflow Olympus Tap Valve    The valve shown here is for the Earlier model and will have Avillion, Perrin & Rowe, Triflow or TCL stamped on it. Here is our Guide to remove the handles and change the valve of the Olympus Triflow.

Description

Franke Triflow Olympus Tap Valve

This Franke Triflow Olympus Tap was discontinued 2011.
The Triflow version has red , blue and green coloured indicators on the handles. If you have the Franke Olympus Filterflow Tap, then you will have the letters C, H and F etched on your handle and the parts listed here are not for the Filterflow Tap.
This Franke Triflow Olympus Tap takes 3 valves (1 Hot FR9762 and 1 Cold FR9763 and 1 Filtered Cold FR9764).  If your Franke Triflow Olympus Tap is dripping where the spout meets the base then you need to replace your O Ring Kit which you can find here.

Triflow Olympus (Valve shown here) or Filterflow Olympus ? It is easy check which version you have:

The simplest way is to check the markings on your Valve.  If you have the version for sale here, you will have either Avillion / Perrin & Rowe /Triflow or TCL stamped on your Valve.  If your Valve has SMR or San Marco stamped on it, this is the Filterflow Valve and is not this valve here.  That’s for sale on the website under the name Franke Filterflow Olympus Valve.

Other distinguishing differences between the earlier Triflow Olympus Version and the later Filterflow Olympus  Version:

The Franke Triflow Olympus valve has 20 Splines only one set of threads below the black rubber O Ring, whereas the Franke Filterflow Olympus Valve has 28 Splines and two sets of threads, one above the black rubber O Ring and one below it. The Filterflow Olympus valves 1427R – H and 1427R – C can be found here.

Tip: If your water is dripping from the Cold side and you don’t know whether it is the Cold Mains valve or the Cold Filter Valve that needs replacing, try the replacement valve in one of the cold sides and if drip continues switch. If drip still continues then you either need 2 Cold valves i.e. both need replacing, or the drip is on the Hot Water side.
