There are other similar looking mini valves in taps, but they do NOT have 28 splines. If your own valve is stamped SMR or San Marco and looks like the pictures here / dimensions provided, then you have the SMR mini valve. We supply genuine SMR replacements.

SMR Mini Tap Valve

Manufacturers can change the appearance of a valve over the years of production, so it is always important to source a genuine replacement valve for your Kitchen Tap to ensure you get the best value and longevity from this frequently used Kitchen Appliance.  You have two different valve options to choose from here and both have same key measurements, both types have been used interchangeably over the years in your own Tap.

3308R PAIR

The 3308R version which we supply with white seal (your own 3308R might have a red or blue seal) but has distinctive flat sides on the nut.

SMR Mini Valve 3794R Pair

OR 3794R version which has 6 sides on the nut.

In our experience we have found the white seals to be thicker than red or blue versions so you might want to consider this option 3308R if your Tap is old or you have poor water quality.

Measurements 3794R: Height 38mm Diameter at thread:20mm, Splines:28, Nut Height: 5mm

Measurements 3308R: Height 38mm Diameter at thread:20mm, Splines:28, Nut Height: 9mm

The SMR Mini Tap Valve 3794R is a quarter turn Tap Valve (Hot or Cold). See below for more information on product codes and measurements.

The Hot and Cold Valve are not interchangeable as one opens clockwise and the other opens anti-clockwise.

Often this Tap uses the Handle insert 3530R which you can buy here if needed.
