Spare Parts for Perlator V Tap

Perlator V Tap – What It Means and How to Find the Right Spare Part

Seen “Perlator V” stamped on the tip of your kitchen tap? That’s not the tap brand – it’s the name of the aerator insert, a small part at the end of the spout that controls water flow. You may also see “Neoperl” stamped on the back – that’s the manufacturer.

Many people assume they need to replace the aerator when their tap starts dripping. But if the drip continues when the tap is turned off, the issue is almost always a worn valve – not the aerator.

Below are answers to common questions. If you’re unsure, just send us a photo – we’ll identify the part for you.

FAQs – Perlator V Taps and Drips

Q: My tap is dripping from the aerator – do I need a new aerator?
A: Probably not. If the drip happens when the tap is fully off, the problem is usually a worn valve inside the tap.
Q: What does “Perlator V” mean?
A: It’s a type of aerator insert. It doesn’t identify the tap itself. We need a photo of the full tap to help.
Q: I see “Neoperl” on the aerator too – is that the tap brand?
A: No – Neoperl makes the aerator. It’s not the tap manufacturer or model.
Q: Can you help me find the right part?
A: Yes. Just send a photo of your tap to sales@tapsandsinksonline.co.uk. We’ll do the rest.

I have just contacted you regarding replacing the spout of a Perlator tap. Having looked into this a bit more it seems that the tap is actually a Franke Olympus tap with a silk steel finish.

    Many thanks.
