Even though the Astracast valve is c. 52mm, we have found that our 1212R 50mm valve is compatible.

Comment from customer re: grub screw
The large cosmetic cover incorporates a recess into which the splined end of the cartridge fits snuggly and does not allow any outwards motion. This is then backed up with a grub screw concealed by the rod projecting from the cap and tightened with an Allen key which clamps on to the splines of the cartridge.
