Is this a genuine spare part ? Yes it is
What size allen key do I need ? You need a 2.5mm allen key to remove the spout which you can buy here. See below for our DIY Guides.
My own spout doesn’t have the small white ring. It has only one large white ring & two black ones?. Later spouts for your tap had an extra small white ptfe ring added for increased stability. If your own Tap preceded this modification then just discard the ring. Even if you need to replace the spout itself, you can still fit the newer spout (which is slightly longer to accomodate the extra ring) perfectly into your tap.
I have replaced the O Rings and my spout is still dripping from the base. Check again the DIY guide to ensure you have fitted corrrectly BUT also check for pinholes. These are tiny cracks, worn spots, in the spout and water can leak through. If you have pinholes then you will need to replace the entire spout which you can buy here.

Depending on the age of your own Spout, you might only have 1 white ptfe ring. Usually these white ptfe rings do not need to be replaced unless broken.

Difference between Genuine and Compatible ?

To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
