Teka Malaga Kitchen Tap Valve

The Spout on this Tap was changed c.2006 but this has no bearing on the valve (nor for that matter the O Ring Kit). But this Tap did undergo a Valve change c.2009 so it is important to check your own Valve before ordering. It will be either the 1212R with 20 Splines or the 3602R with 28 splines. To confuse matters more, it has also been named as the Teka Eider Tap.

If your installation guide shows 3491R valve, according to the manufacturer, this is the 3602R valve. If your valve is different, please email us pictures of your Tap, valve and measurements

The latest genuine version of 3602R valve, which we will be sending if you order 3602R, issued from October 2021, looks a little different from previous one threaded 3602R above, but is the genuine replacement / new version 3602R. See picture below

To maintain your warranty and the longevity of your Tap you should replace any parts with only Genuine Spare Parts. "Genuine" means that it is coming from the manufacturer of your own Tap. You might see the word 'Compatible' used on other websites. You might even see same Part Code BUT "Compatible" means that it does NOT come from your own Tap manufacturer. Genuine Tap Parts means that the Parts have been tried and tested in your Tap model. It also guarantees that it will fit your own Tap correctly (provided that you have selected the correct replacement Part). We have had customers who fitted compatible parts in their taps and damaged other connecting parts in the process. It can work out more costly in the end to use Compatible parts.
