Carron Phoenix Aztec Tap Valve

£15£33

Clear

Carron Phoenix Aztec Tap Valve 1212R  or 3819R for the Cold Water side or Hot Water side of your Kitchen Tap. We do not stock the earlier valve with 18 splines code R9742P.1760C (cold) and R9742P.1760H (hot). We supply screws with this valve in case your own valve precedes the 1212R and your own screws are not compatible with the new valves.
The word ‘white’ beside the 1212R Valve option refers to the colour of the seal. We supply the earlier white sealed version as the seal is larger than the current flatter red / blue seals.
If you do require a bush (see pictures) it would be one bush per valve.
Please note that this Tap has been changed several times over the years so it is very important, if you don’t have your Installation Guide that came with the Tap (that would give you spare part numbers) that you check the measurements of your own parts against these parts listed below before buying.  All unused parts can be returned for a full refund within 14 days.
Please also read below before ordering.

Description

Carron Phoenix Aztec Tap Valve

Depending on when your tap was manufactured, and this is on the basis that your own valve has 20 splines, you might or might not require the screw that we supply with the valve.

1212R or 3819R

If your Tap is dripping from the Spout then you might need to change your Valves.  Here is our Guide 7 Easy Steps to replace Kitchen Tap Valve.
If your Tap is dripping where the Spout meets the Base you might need to replace your Carron Phoenix Aztec Tap O Ring Kit 1239R.

I don't know what Valve I need to fix my dripping Tap is a useful guide if you don't know what Valve you need to fix your Dripping Tap. There are other useful guides in our 'Helpful Tips' section such as the 'How to' section which includes DIY guides on changing valves, cartridges etc. These might be useful if you need to remove the handle (7 easy steps to replace a kitchen valve) or lever (How to replace a Cartridge on your single lever tap) on your tap in order to see what your own Tap Part looks like before you compare to ours. See our Tap Spare Parts Section for all the Spare Tap Parts on our Website.

If your valve looks like this in the image below, then the brass bush is still attached and you will need to separate and reuse with the new valve, or if you cannot separate, then buy a new brass bush as well.

1212R Valve with Brass Bush still attached

1212R Valve with Brass Bush 3408R 36mm still attached

For more about changing a valve and the brass bush (ring) coming away with your old valve, please read here..
If you do need to order a Brass Bush please check which one you have (or order both with a view to returning the one that you don’t need) as the original brass bush would be the 36mm 3408R and the later bush is the 30mm 3409R.

Parts might be modified by the manufacturers as part of their continual improvements. We cannot always guarantee that a part will fit an older version of a product. All spare parts that do not fit can be returned for a refund excluding shipping costs.

We ship from IRELAND so please see below for SHIPPING TIMES (by Post or Courier) before you place your Order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding estimated arrival date for your order once dispatched.

POST COST: For very small items: Screws, O Ring Kits, Aerators & some Bushes, we Post (£2/£3.50). This is NOT trackable.     Where we Post, and you have been incorrectly charged Courier Rate £5/£7, we will refund the excess shipping charge to you. Some Parts cannot be posted e.g. Valves.

POST DELIVERY TIMES:

ROI / NI: Approx 2 days delivery by Post.

Great Britain: Unfortunately there is no such thing as first / second class mail in Ireland. There is just 'standard' post. Our current experience is that it is taking approx 1-2 weeks for goods to arrive in Great Britain by Post. But we are having reports of it taking even longer than this. This is outside of our control and the backlog appears to be due to customs clearance for all items creating a backlog, slowing down all inward parcels and post from EU.

COURIER DELIVERY TIMES Track & Trace (£5/£7) & we make no profit from these charges):

ROI / NI: Approx 2 days delivery by Fastways.

Great Britain: Average shipping time with DPD is approx 1 week (but can take longer) .

Please note that delivery times with DPD UK for goods shipped from Ireland are slower than DPD within Great Britain. Brexit means that all goods coming into Great Britain have to clear Customs and this has added delays to the process. Our current experience is that goods shipped with DPD UK currently take approx 1 week to be delivered, but it can occasionally take longer. We can provide tracking numbers if required. Click here for more detailed information about all Shipping & Returns.

Not shipping to UK Offshore Islands:

We are currently only shipping to England, Scotland, Wales, NI and ROI. We are currently unable for logistical & customs reasons to ship to Channel Islands, Isle of Man or any Isles off mainland GB. All we can suggest is that you might be able to have the Order shipped to GB and from the there get it shipped on to your own address if it is one of the destinations that we currently do not ship to.

BREXIT: Brexit will have no financial impact on our GB customers once your Order is less than £135.

There will be No Vat on Imports, No Customs Charges, No extra or hidden charges once your Total Order is less than £135.  We will remind you again about this at the Checkout stage before you complete (pay) for your Order.  For further details please see our Brexit section here.
