Check for Pinhole Damage Before Ordering O-Rings
- Always inspect your tap spout for pinhole damage before ordering a new set of O-rings.
- If your spout has a pinhole (see example below), replacing the O-ring kit won't resolve the issue.
- In such cases, you'll need to replace the entire spout.
- Refer to our guide: How to Remove a Kitchen Tap Spout to check for pinholes.
- If you're uncertain about the spout you need, contact us with details of your tap, such as a picture and any brand markings, so we can assist you in finding the correct spout.

Tips When Changing the O-Ring Kit
- Usually, only the black O-rings need replacing unless one of the white O-rings is damaged.
- Some white O-rings have an intentional split for use in spouts with a grub screw; a split does not indicate it's broken.
- Your new O-ring kit may include extra rings not needed for your spout, as some kits were later updated with a smaller ring for added stability.
- Use plumber's grease or washing-up liquid to aid movement, but avoid Vaseline as it can damage the rubber.

- Compatible = Not made by your Tap’s brand. May not fit or last.

Each O-Ring Kit contains:
• 1 x PTFE Split O ring for older taps.
• 1 x Stainless Steel Grub Screw (Larger end for older models).
• 1 x PTFE Split O ring for newer taps.
• 1 x Stainless Steel Grub Screw (Smaller end for newer models).
• 1 x Large Rubber O ring (top ring on spout).
• 1 x Small Rubber O ring (bottom ring on spout).
• 1 x Allen Key (for removing and re-fitting the grub screw into the back of the body of the tap).
• 1 x Pack of lubricating grease (for lubricating the O rings prior to re-assembly of the Spout).
Please Note: both older and newer versions of the grub screws and split O rings are included, you will need one type or the other NOT both.
The O Ring Kit listed here is NOT suitable for the Franke Trend (see picture here below) and note the difference in the spout and levers design. It is a completely different looking Tap and takes the O Ring Kit FR9400
