Carron: “Another low profile, inset kitchen sink with a refreshingly modern design. Here, straight lines combine with gentle curves on the drainer area and tap ledge for a slightly softer look compared to Isis. Spacious bowls. Well proportioned drainer. Practical design. Caring For Your Stainless Steel Sink

Technical Specification

We have this or very similar sink in the flat we’ve recently move into.
Whoever has designed it, I’d love to hear what’s the idea behind the placing a tap mounting point exactly in the middle – which is too far (!) from the main sink bowl.
With the kind of tap as on the images the water stream falls just by the edge/corner of the main bowl causing heavy spilling behind the sink whether flushing a plate or a pan. Greatly inconvenient, do not recommend.

HI Tom, You don’t state what Kitchen Tap you have. The position of the hole in the Zeta 150 for your Tap is very common across all brands of sinks / styles in both Granite Sinks as well as Stainless.
The issue is not the position of the hole in your sink, but rather the inadequate reach of your own Kitchen Tap Spout i.e if you have a small Spout with a short reach.
A good Kitchen Designer would match up the Tap to the Sink before installation based on the design of the Sink.
There are many Kitchen Taps out there with excellent reach that would not cause the issue that you are describing, e.g like the Kitchen Tap in the picture, which is not an usual tap by any means, but has excellent reach. Or you could try the Finley Tap as another example. If you want to email me a budget figure I would be very happy to email you examples within your price range that would have a good reach and eliminate this annoying issue for you.
